Birds flying over Duxbury Beach in the fall.
Powder Point Bridge was originally built in 1892 and became the world's longest wooden bridge. The half mile long bridge was rebuilt in the 1980's and lost it's place in the record books. The bridge is still a hub of activity for Duxburians. On any given day, you can watch day fishermen, clammers, joggers, kayakers, sunbathers, boaters and a host of other maritime activities within its countenance.
Everyone loves a parade and so does Duxbury. We really do up July 4th!
